Default imusic (does it work?)

I was looking for info to help people who are having trouble falling asleep and get quality rest, and found a link on the stevepavlina blog.

Natural deep sleep. Now

Its an audio product that claims to help people who have the same sleep problems as I do. It sounds fair to me that scientists actually are able to create music that effects your brain waves in a positive way in order to sleep better.
But however the price of this product is 90 $... I would very much hear if anybody have any experiences with this product or heard about reviews. If this product does only half what it claims to do I'd gladly pay 1000 $ for it. Seriously!

The only review I could find was on another product from the same company.
This product claims to highten your state during day. There was three reviews and two of them was entirely negative....

See review here

I haven't tried this product but I have tried some sleep CD's that I bought at my local bookstore. I was prompted to try one of these CD's by my doctor who first sent me to a sleep study to see if I had sleep apnea and when he ruled that out he told my I was too stressed out and sent me to a therapist. My therapist suggest the sleep CD to help relax me and get me to REM quicker. I found that when I used the CD, I did relax and was able to fall asleep with ease. I also woke in the morning feeling that I got a full nights sleep.
I also tried a CD with musical sound and singing/speaking. This didn't work for me because I found the voice distracting.
Hope this helps, even a little.

Good luck!

I was thinking of buying it, but it's dumb, they don't even have an electronic delivery system for it. You have to wait for it to be shipped to you. Why not offer it as a downloadable Mp3 u can burn to your CD or put on your MP3 player?

iMusic was created with a license from the company whose technology they use, The Transparent Corporation.

TransparentCorp has some great programs you can use for entrainment, white/pink noise, and now editing brainwave patterns into all your media.

I personally have used "Neuro-Programmer 2" with great success. Having tried many entrainment products, I can say that this one creates the desired effect every time.

Check it out at Transparent Corporation

This Neuro-Programmer 2 looks interesting. Can you tell me exactly what it does and how you've used it with great success? I'd like to learn more and probably buy this. Seems inexpensive at only $59.

I would be very grateful if you would let us know what the cd's were called, or be more specific regarding the type of music.

Thanks!

I would also recommend like LivingWarrior to check Neuro-Programmer 2 out.
It has a 14 day demo, so you can test it and see if the technology does something for you before you buy either Neuro-Programmer or Imusic.
14 days should be enough for you to get a noticeable effect on your sleep problem.
The people on the Transparent Corporation forum are also very nice if you have questions regarding the technology.

Talking about this in terms of “bad news” or “bad judgment by business leaders” seems archaic. It’s like describing World War One as “a serious diplomatic concern.”

The most straight forward way to use NP2 is to just sit back and relax, with your headphones, close your eyes and let yourself drift into trance or meditation.

A way I make it more fun is to set an intention beforehand, recognizing that you are about to drift into trance and let your subconscious mind take over.

Another way (and personal favorite) is to play NP2 in the background of any hypnosis, seminar, or even Steve P.'s podcasts. I find it to be very flow-state inducing and useful for integrating knowledge, mind/body connection, or the reintegrating of any fractured segment of your self.

A third way to use NP2 takes slightly more effort, but is worth it and very rewarding. A "recording" feature comes in NP2 that lets you record voice indefinitely. It is stored as a .ogg file that you can find in your C:\Program Files\Neuro-Programmer 2 Professional\recordings folder. There are 3 session types, [ Programming ] [ Brainwave Training ] and [ User ]. Select [ Programming ] and click on the Play Selected Recordings tab. Click the "modulate" option to create a left/right panning effect for your voice. From a drop down list you will find your recording, which can be now layered over the entrainment session. You can layer it with Alpha/Beta waves for general relaxation and awareness, or you can go deeper to Theta for more serious awakenings and re-programming.

If you are unsure about what to record, try writing a script or telling a story about some event in your life. If you were the author writing your life story from the outside, with complete creative control, how would you write it for your 'character'? You can embed personal metaphors, affirmations, or commands into your story that have a real meaning for You.

Have fun with it!
