G.B. Shaw was not a strict vegetarian, either. He ate cheese, butter, eggs, and cod liver oil, and took liver injections when he got pernicious anemia: "I have never ascribed my longevity to my vegetarian diet. I come of a long-lived and fertile family, all meat eaters. I do not claim exceptionally good health. I have not been 'taking liver injections for many years.' When I was 82 I tried them to cure an attack of pernicious anemia. Result - I dropped apparently dead twice and have not since had any injections. Gland extracts are no more outside vegetarian diet than milk and cheese. Vegetarian diet is vital diet, vegetable diet is a different matter. Abstention from killing is impossible. If you know nothing of locusts and white ants, you have at least heard of the Colorado beetle." [Huh? | |

I dont think that a vegan diet is one that I would do. But if that is what makes your body feel better than god bless. I think that the key word here is balance; I try and eat a round balnced diet of fruits vegetables and meat. Anything that is not natural is what we need to be concerned with here.(i.e. chemicals etc.) P.S. Jesus ate meat |

Guess what everyone! You need meat, fruit, greens, and vegetables to be healthy. There's certain nutrients that meat and flesh give you that no plant, or fruit has in it. I've personally found that grassfed Buffalo Meat, Roast Beef in stews, and fish without breading give me energy, and make me feel good. Of course cheap consumer bought meat from chain stores isn't that healthy (unless maybe some brands at Whole Foods), just like store bought vegetables and fruits that are shipped from different states/countries aren't in tune with what your body needs as is local grown food. Try to buy meat from companies or local farmers who are respectful and take well care of their animals, and support your local farmers and gardens by buying your vegetables, greens, and fruits from them. Eating animals is not your enemy, it's your own mind and fear that is causing many to play the "divide and conquer" game within the health industry. Everyone must check out this site: LocalHarvest.org Favorite it, and try to have a great day. Peace out. |
