Has anyone else noticed their senses becoming VERY sensitive again after eating raw? My eyesight has gone back to 20/20, I used to need glasses. Im also super picky with perfumes, and I can smell the difference between different corners of the same room. Its NUTS. Sometimes I like to think that I can smell personality. And, the odd time, you can. |

I've noticed a few strange symptoms in my life recently. #1 I have little to no sense of smell. My family was horrified by the smell of the housecats litterbox.. I could not smell it at all. Even within a foot of it, a stench that was apparently unbareable within the room, I couldnt smell a thing. I can smell certain things though, I can smell citrus and most foods. #2 My tongue hurts. I don't know what it is, It doesnt feel like any kind of strep I've ever had. The back of my tongue ranges from stabbing to a strange kind of pain I have not experienced before. My intution tells me it is related to diet and not something viral. I've read in the past that a decrease in smell is caused by a zinc deficiency. I wonder if the raw diet is packed with enough nutrients that your senses begin to repair and improve. Its likely most people are walking around nutritionally hindered. |

I have to agree that sense of smell is the what stands out the most since I started eating raw.
