the general consesus is that saturated fats are bad for you. coconut oil is about 80% saturated fat. So why is it good to ingest? I found this about MCT's: Quote:

Coconut oil is awesome, and I actually take a tablespoon a day to help me burn body fat! There is a big difference in Medium Chain Triglycerides and hydrogenated fats, animal fats, etc. |

Defiance, awesome article! Anyone looking to try it, please make sure you buy raw and organic coconut oil because the right kind will make a big difference health-wise and taste. The price difference is small or none, if you don't pay retail. |
