I don't really know that much about colonics other than they clean the colon and can be highly beneficial in clearing out a lot of gunk that is other wise slowing you down. You mentioned needing/wanting to clean your system out and I assumed you would already be doing some of the things I asked about.. oops, guess not eh?

Have pity on my ignorance So those things you listed were good for clearing the gut out? Why clorophyll?

Yeah.. there is quite a bit to it. I believe in doing homework because it can help you understand what's going on a little better.. knowledge being power and all.. the other side of the coin, of course, ignorance being bliss

Chlorophyll = O2 = nutrient delivery & more effective detox = healing

Look into it.. educate yourself, form your own opinions, figure out how it works for you.. not everyone is the same.

Hi................,
One of the main things that people with Crohn’s disease must be aware of is the
influence of diet on his (her) condition. People with this disease cannot absorb nutrients efficiently so they must be very careful about what they eat. According to Podolsky 2002, one of the main recommendations for Crohn’s disease patients is to eat very small meals spread throughout the day (5 – 6 times a day).
There is no specific diet to follow but it seems that in each person with Crohn’s disease certain foods make things worse.

Greetings Everyone,
My name is Brian.

My story is a very long one. Too long to post in this forum.
I have been dealing with Crohn’s Disease for over 30 years. The pain and discomfort caused by this hideous disease destroyed my life.

I have gone through two bowel resections and numerous emergency room and hospital visits over the years.

During the first twenty years of this disease, Prednisone and Sulfasalazine were the main treatment. Later Antibiotics (Ciprofloxacin or Metronidazole), Corticosteroids, 6-Mercaptopurine (6-MP), Methotrexate, and Cyclosporine when I ended up in emergency rooms. Which happened more than I can remember. None of these worked as the Prednisone did. I eventually started receiving Remicade treatments that helped with the fistulas for a while. This was temporary and I had to go back every 6 weeks.

In 2007, the disease flared-up and consumed me. I was found in bed un-responsive and rush to the hospital in an ambulance. I spent three days on life support and stayed in the hospital for approximately 35 days. During this time, they were not able to get control of the disease and I experienced my second bowel resection. I never recovered.

After the surgery, I got worse. The pain returned, the fistulas’ got worse, and I developed a new symptom of rashes all over my skin. The pain stayed at a level 10 and was now 24 hours. I slept in 30 minute increments because my bowel frequency was unparalleled to anything I had experience in all the years of harboring this disease.

I literally was preparing for my death. I sent all my possessions to my children and arranged for my body to be taken care of. I at this time lost all hope and wanted nothing more than to die.

In May of 2009, my roommate approached me and told me she met someone whose grandchild had Crohn’s disease. He had created this liquid that he felt could help me. I responded that I did not want help and really, as if I need another miracle in my life as I rolled my proverbial eyes.

Through the years, I had tried everything. I made my own food. I ate different diets. I tried everything from Probiotic products to vitamins to miracle cures. At every corner through the years was the ultimate miracle that resulted in yet another disappointment.

With her insistence, I went to see this individual and when I walked into his office I felt there was no way I wanted anything to do with this. To my disappointment, there was a voice deep down pushing me forward. I accepted the plastic gallon jug he handed me and carried it home. He instructed me to drink 2 ounces a day 3 times a day. The taste was unbelievably horrid at first.

My attitude was that I had nothing to lose. Therefore, I drank this stuff three times a day. On the third day, the pain disappeared and I was able to sleep through most of the night. The frequency went down and I was able to sleep through the night within a week of starting the formula.

Today I am not totally symptom free and there are some resemblances of the disease present at times. However, I lost my ileum in the first bowel resection and bile can be an issue if I do not watch my diet.

For the most part, I live a productive, happy symptom free life. In my heart, I know the disease is gone. I feel that after 30 plus years of pain and everything else that comes with Crohn’s disease there is a body and cellular memory. As each day goes by, I laugh more than the day before.

There is hope for people out there. I encourage you to start reading more on alkalinity and disease. There are several great sites talking about this and it works. The one thing I found common in all diseases is that they thrive in an acid environment. This liquid I drank raised my pH from a 5.0 (which is as bad as it gets) to a 6.25 in three days and the Crohns started dissipating.

The following site talks about acidity and alkaline in the body. This is not the person mentioned or the water I drank. It is a website I found while educating myself on this topic. I read many things on this topic after meeting this person because I did not want to go into it blind. I am a Software Engineer by education and have worked for IBM and Dell over the past 25 years. I am one of those people who does research to ad nauseum.

I encourage each of you no matter your issues to look into this.

Welcome to drcelltox.com

Sincerely,
Brian

Wow Brian, you had a tough time. I feel for you mate. Glad you found something that worked.

Nowadays I'm doing much better. I believe I can mark it down to my constant growth and experimentation but I can't put my finger on any one thing that worked for me. Except fasting maybe. Fasting is the number 1 symptomatic cure and eating less in general helps a lot too.

Andrew,
I also used diet to help through the years. I actually made my own food to eliminate any possible contamination from additives and chemicals.

As far as diet today; I do not drink sodas or eat red meat. These two things have had the biggest impact as far as diet. They are also two of the highest on the acidity scale.

Currently I eat a lot of fruit and vegetables. Mostly stick to a raw food diet. By doing so, the bile buildup is minimal. Also drinking this water eliminates the acidity problem.

After all these years and many paths to help, the acidity factor is the only thing that has had a permanent impact.

I put together two charts that list foods with high acidity and high alkalinity impacts to the body. They are quite extensive and took me weeks to put together. I would be happy to send those to you.

Thanks,
Brian

^I didn't test that one out specifically. Didn't agree with my intuition. A lot of its principles I incorporate into my diet though - the ones that make sense to me.

The issue with this diet for me was the meat. Red meat is high in acidity and allows for disease to thrive. When I eat meat it is fish or chicken. And that is not all fish or chicken. Only free-range chicken. I stay away from bottom fish eaters.

Eliminating red meat was huge in controlling my pH. Nuts can cause some bad side-effects for some Crohn's sufferers.

A good book to look into as far as diet: "The Maker's Diet." However, I would really look into pH. My Crohns was eliminated with this approach.

Thanks,
Brian

Brian, what was the substance that you drank that you think cured you?

Your pH could not have been 5, it is not possible to live with a pH like that, did you mean the pH of your urine perhaps?

Zeloc,

You are correct in the pH comment. My Urine was at 5.0. Human blood pH should be slightly alkaline (7.35 - 7.45). Below or above this range means symptoms and disease. If blood pH moves below 6.8 or above 7.8, cells stop functioning and the body dies. The body therefore continually strives to balance pH. When this balance is compromised, many problems can occur.

The substance I drank has a pH of 11.143.

When I drank the water I believe it did two things, it drove my pH up immediately, encapsulated any bacteria and parasites, and eliminated them. I had a toxicology report done on it and it came back all 0’s. There was also a study done on it in Canada and published by a magazine called Scanning “The Journal of Scanning Microscopies.” They found this stuff encapsulated bacteria and other things (cannot remember all the things they tested it on) and literally isolated them and thus destroyed them.

As far as helping me. There is no doubt this stuff saved me. When I started drinking it, I was at the point that dying was welcome. I was down to around 110 lbs (skin and bones for me), and my pain level was at a 10, 24 hours a day. I now have no pain, my frequency (bowel movements) are down to one or two a day. I am almost normal. Now understand that I had my ileum removed in the first operation so bile can be an issue for me. I control this with diet and the water. I drink six ounces of this water a day.

Something else I do with it that has had great results is to spray it on my skin. It keeps my skin clear, and soft. When I started, I had rashes from the Crohns (a side effect that happens). I am not sure if it was the internal or topical use that cleared it up.

The ingredients are simple.

Sodium Carbonate
Potassium Chloride
Trisodium Phosphate

It is how they are combined and heated that make them different. It is the process. It is believed together they create a different type of molecule.

Over 20 years ago I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. I only wish the internet was around then (maybe it was in small scale compared to today) just so I could view forums such as this then. And not rely on my doctor and what little literature I could dig up then. Anyhow my Colitis got to the point where intravenous feedings were about the only way I could nourish myself. That meant spending a lot of time in the hospital then. After that I made a move that I've regretted for over 20 years now I went into surgery and made a J Pouch out of the un-diseased part of my colon. I guess that wasn't much because life has been rough since then. It was a no win situation for me. I don't know if I would have made that move then if I knew life would be like this. I can't remember getting one night of 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep now, ever since I received my J Pouch over 20 years ago. I'm upset about it now, and only wish colon transplants were as easy to do as other organ transplants are now.

(I used to use the account "Buttercat Apocalypse").

Three years and one month have passed from this intial decision to strike out on my own to find my own solution. Now I'm cured. I can finally make a definitive, positive statement on that count: I am cured. It's such a big thing to be able to say that.

10 years of continuous illness. Some brushes with death. Some times when it hurt so much I couldn't speak. It's over.

If anyone else has the same problem as me, let me say: there is hope. You CAN find a solution. I did it, so can you.
