Default Why does this woman's voice crack like this?

I know a woman who's in her 40s, whose voice occasionally cracks.

I ask because my own voice occasionally cracks too - I have had throat problems for a little while now. I'm 22 so this is something I am not happy with, and something I assume will go away with time. But this woman has this problem. I wonder is it stress-related?

I cannot help but feel that it is a manifestation of an underlying health or physiological issue.

There's no way for anyone here to diagnose that.

From an energetic perspective, she may have trouble expressing herself, her feelings, etc. She doesn't believe in what she's saying.

I can't really say without knowing her, and I certainly can't say what it might be medically.

That's a good suggestion, but I don't think it's true.

She's quite a dominant type.

For the past year and a half, my own voice cracks occasionally, and it's really, really, really annoying and upsetting to me. I'm 22.

I think it is a symptom of underlying stress-induced problems.
