Default Juice Feasting

Are there oils allowed on juice feasting?

I did a juice 'fast' almost a year ago, basically taking in vegetable juices and oils (about 1250 calories a day from oils). No fruit juices. I felt very weak during the fast, but my mental clarity was awesome, especially in the mornings. In the afternoons I usually slept. I am a big proponent of 80/10/10 by Dr. Graham, but I must admit that the mental clarity on just calories from oils, was at least for 8 days a lot better than what I have experienced with other 'diets' over the last years. Sleep was very good and deep when doing this.

Juice feasting isn't juice fasting. On juice feasting you're consuming at least a gallon of fresh juice per day, some green juice and some fruit juice. So you aren't depriving yourself of calories at all.

You can also include a little oil and various supplements to assist the detox process.

There's tons of free info on this at Juice Feasting > Home if you want to educate yourself about it.

I'm going to kick of a 92-day juice feast soon. I'm just waiting for a few supplies to arrive in the mail, and then I'm good to go.

There are a number of daily logs from juice feasters who shared their experiences online. Angela Stokes' one at www.rawreform.com is the most well-known.
