Default Raw Food diet Book Recommendations

For the Raw foodists out there, which books would you recommend to someone wanting to transition to a 100% raw food diet.

So far, I am considering the books;

Green for Life by Victoria Boutenko
Raw Success by Matt Monarch
Raw Spirit by Matt Monarch

Thanks.

Amazon.co.uk: The River Cottage Meat Book: Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall: Books

It's a good one.

I really like Living on Live Food by Alissa Cohen.

Another book that I've heard good things about, but haven't yet read, is Ani's Raw Food Kitchen by Ani Phyo.

Those are all excellent choices. Matt's fiancee, Angela Stokes, has a good one called Raw Emotions.

Alissa's is good too.

Gabriel Cousens, David Wolfe

What are you looking for?

Are you looking for
recipes,
meal plans,
the reasons of going raw,
emotional support for going raw,
science behind going raw,
to cure a particular illness?

There's loads to choose from!

Out of the three you list, I've only read Green for life, which is good and all about the benefits of green smoothies, but doesn't discuss what else to eat.
I've not read the other two by Matt so can't comment.

H.Star: I'm looking for books on what to eat on the diet, food combining, how to protect your teeth from all the high sugar fruits, poblems you may come accross, losing weight on the diet.
I tried a high fruit raw diet and had many problems with that, (not detox), so now I'm wondering what to eat. I'm not looking for books with recipies because I like to keep it as simple as possible.

Thanks, I'll look into the books mentioned here already.

If you want to lose weight, see Angela Stokes at www.rawreform.com.

I also recommend 12 Steps to Raw Foods by Victoria Boutenko.

The Sunfood Diet Success System by David Wolfe. I return to this book frequently and have heavily highlighted passages.

It's well researched and he writes about losing weight, boosting the immune system, clearing emotional blockages, improving business performance, opening to intuition, and health issues, of course. I sound like a commercial, but I love this book.

ani's book is okay, but personally, i have yet to like a single soup out of the book, and i think she uses way too much salt and oil. and there's a million pics of her in the book.

after much debate, i have added the following to my amazon wishlist:
raw revolution diet
rawvolution
raw food made easy for 1 or 2 people
green for life
i am grateful
raw food/real world

i'm waiting for the money to fall into my lap so i can get started on that
