Lightbulb Possible new sleep pattern

Hey, its still working, am just sleeping 2/3 hours between 5 and 8 in the morning. Have decided that perhaps this could work properly, if I gave my body one day a week to reset e.g.

Mon - Sat: Sleep 2 hours every morning = 16 hours
Sun: Don't set any alarm and sleep from early sunday morning (when you normally fall asleep) as late as you like. = 12 hours (possibly?)

That would could my sleeping time effectively in half, from 48ish to 28, also I can get a lot done in the early hours of the morning, as I have no distractions, as oppose to sunday day time when I would probably just bum around.

I'm going to try it and see, would be interested in anyones thoughts/comments/helpful hints

Thanks

So wait, you stay up until 5am, sleep for 2 or 3 hours a night, and you feel ok?

How is that possible?

I don't know, I discussed it in an earlier post, it happened just after my appendix came out, and I have been doing it for a week since, and feel fine, with only one extended sleep (6 hours) every other day 2/3 hours sleep. No health problems apart from occasional mild headaches, which I didn't have before. Work is still done to a high standard, also had one occasion when it felt a lot easier than normal.
How is it possible, I have no idea, and its possible my sleep cycle is just wacked, I found out when I went to bed a 11 ish, but couldn't sleep till 5 am, got up at 7, and repeated this for three days before deciding I could have 6 productive hours. Which I did/am doing. Seems to be working fine.
I have never really considered polyphasic, but after doing the math it would not really fit my schedule, as well as having a room mate making napping hard, and this seems easier - if it works.
