For some reason, whenever I do upper body workouts I do as many reps as I can before stopping. However, the next time I do an upper body workout (2 days later) I always end up doing the same amount of reps that I did last time. Whenever I do lower body workouts, on the other hand, I always do 10 more reps than I did the last time I did a lower body workout (2 days earlier). Therefore, I am able to improve when it comes to lower body workouts, but I cannot improve when it comes to upper body workouts. Is this normal? My upper body workout consists of pullups, chinups and pushups. My lower body workout consists of body weight squats and calf raises. I do upper body workouts on tuesdays, thursdays and saturdays. I do lower body workouts on mondays, wednesdays and fridays. |
