Default My Goal : 100 Pushups in a Row

I found this website:

one hundred push ups

And it has a workout plan with a goal of getting you from any level of fitness to being able to do 100 pushups in a row.

I have already started and have been going at it every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for 3 weeks now.

I have some advice for those of you who start it:

1) It will take longer than the 6 weeks it says.

2) You will not be able to do all of the pushups for every Day # on your first try. Do not expect success on your first try. Just do your best.

3) Ex. If you finish Day 1 on Monday, but you can't do all of the pushups for Day 2 on Wednesday, on Friday you should re-try the pushups for Day 2. Do not advance to Day 3 and do not regress to Day 1. If you get stuck on a Day #, keep doing that Day #'s workout each day you do the pushups until you can do them all. Then, advance.

Hopefully some of you will take the challenge and in a few months be able to say "I Did The Hundred."

I am following this workout plan until I do the hundred.

I won't be keeping yall up to date because blogging about my progress isn't my thing. But when I finish the workout plan, I will post a record of my progress that I am keeping in an Excel sheet.

Final Advice:

4) Keep an Excel spreadsheet of your progress! Looking back at mine I can SEE the improvement literally in front of me and say "wow I have really progressed in so little time."
