Default Can we take bath immediately after breakfast?

Well, that question might be strange but my mother says that one should not take bath immediately after breakfast.Soon one might develop bellies. I told her not to believe in these stuff but I I want to make sure that I am right or wrong.

Any suggestions?

I've never heard of that, but if it truly concerns you, take a bath before breakfast. It could have some merit, but I doubt it. And if you think it will be a real problem, you could also try doing sit-ups or stomach crunches.

My elders also used to advise to avoid taking a bath just after meals (nor necessarily breakfast). They always recommended to have some rest after meals before starting an activity (including bathing).

I eat breakfast just before bathing. No issues with stomach fat. Sounds like a myth.

Maybe this is somehow getting mixed up with that "Don't swim immediately after eating" saying? The logic behind that one being your body is using too much blood to digest your food, and so could compromise your ability to remain swimming and thus you could accidently drown yourself in the process? Maybe your mother heard that one, didn't realize the reason behind, and so thought that getting into water after eating could be unhealthy?

There is no way that bathing right after eating could be the cause of you storing bodyfat in your belly, so don't worry about it

I think the OP might be referring to belly aches, not belly fat. Under that assumption, taking a bath after breakfast will certainly not give you a belly ache. That's just an old wive's tale. I've usually heard it associated with swimming (my own mother used to tell us that), but I can see it coming up in regards to bathing too.
