Default Adrenal Fatigue- which is more important, Vit C or B-Complex?

I'm low on funds and until I get a new job in a few weeks, I have to scrimp on supplements. I'm feeling sluggish and I think it's because I haven't been taking my full round of supplements.

Which is more important when I have adrenal fatigue- Vitamin c (1-3 grams) or VItamin B complex?

How do you get adrenal fatigue?

Maybe you should try avoiding the cause of adrenal fatigue instead of trying to fix it with expensive supplements.

Adrenal fatigue can be caused by eating sugar and flour. Cutting out those two things might be a good thing to try (and there are lots of other reasons to cut them out too). It would also be a good idea to examine the other sources of stress in your life and how you could deal with them. Even things like infection or unbalanced sex hormones or too much exersise can cause adrenal fatigue. Finally, you need to make sure you are eating enough of the right foods. It is recommended that you eat 20-30 gms of protein at every meal. It is also recommended that you eat enough saturated, shorter-chain fats. This will probably sound like heresy to many people, but it is these fats, butter and animal fats, that keep your blood sugar more stable than any other foods. You may not have to buy any supplement. If you must buy a supplement though, try GABA which is an amino acid that is your brain's natural Valium. The sublingual kind works well. Hope this helps.

I'm doing both. Adrenal fatigue requires limiting the stressors and building up your depleted adrenals.

Thanks. I've done quite a bit of research about adrenal fatigue and what you've aid seems to match up close to what I've read.

What I didn't read was about the saturated fats. I do eat meats and eggs, but for additional fats I eat olive oil and butter (when I get more $ I'll start using coconut oil, but I'm pretty broke right now). Out of habit I've been having much more of the olive oil than the butter, I'll change that. Thanks! BTW, I try and follow the 40%Protien, 30% fats, 30% carb diet Mercola calls "protien type" using metabolic typing.

Default Healing the Adrenals

I"m in the process of healing my own adrenals. I have found that Sabre Sciences is truly the best way to go. I am not trying to promote them directly but they are what I am using to heal after years of abuse. They use transdermals since many people need support and to bypass their worn out liver. Honestly, I'd eat plenty of raw foods, no sugar, positive affirmations, and B Vitamins. Try Alternative Medicine as well... Best of luck..

Remember to get grass-fed sources of butter, eggs, and meat and organic of everything if you are going to increase your consumption of butter.

Default Dr. James Wilson

I have fought my adrenal fatigue for a couple of years with Dr. James Wilson's supplements. I am a sceptic but have found his supplements to be significantly helpful. Here is a link: Adrenal Fatigue

I have recommended his adrenal support supplements to others during extreme stress and they have reported definite results. I use his thyroid supplement and have found that I am able to reduce my thyroid medication.

I love Dr. Wilson's work!!!!
