Default Dry eyes in the morning?

I didn't realize it until the eye doctor pointed it out when I was fitting contacts, but my eyes do not fully close when I blink, or when I sleep.

Because of this, they dry out, and in the morning are red/dry until I blink hard a couple times to squeeze the lube back out of the glands into my eyes.

When I close my eyes you can look up from beneath my eyes and see the white in them where they do not fully shut.

The eye doctor recommended to consciously blink hard/fully a couple times every time I thought of it (about every hour). I have been doing this for a while but not much has changed.

Any suggestions?

Perhaps an addition to my diet (1/4 onion a day?) etc. ?

Any ideas would be great.

Default why?

Hi Tropicality,

After reading your post, I have no idea how to make your eyes more moisty. I just wonder why your eyes don't shut down properly?

Good luck,

Peek
