Default Anybody ever use Wiley X glasses?

I just paid through the nose for a pair of prescription Wiley X safety glasses for use in the workshop. They were the only decent prescription safety glasses that I could find. They work great, for about 30 seconds. Then, they fog up so bad that I can't see a blasted thing, and my face gets extremely sweaty where they contact. I complained to the optometrist, only to be told that I have to wear them for a few days to let them 'adjust'. If I did that, I would be staggering about nearly blind, sweating like a pig and looking at everything as if I had a layer of tissue paper in front of my eyes. A search of the web turned up a few bad reviews on an 'extreme sports' website, but no solution. Does anybody know how to deal with this?

I've used Wiley X before and wasn't really impressed by them. I do know you can have prescription lenses put in Oakley frames. A friend has a pair, I'll have to ask him how to go about it.
