| Make your own smoothies and add some greens and make a green smoothie instead! Much better for you and bursting with enzymes, minerals, vitamins etc when made fresh. Read Green for Life by Victoria Boutenko to find out why you should add greens to your fruit smoothies. Amazon.com: Green for Life: Victoria Boutenko: Books Also read: The Green Smoothie Experiment to find out about someone who went from 525lb to under 400lb in 25 weeks just on green smoothies. I think Innocent smoothies are one of the better brands on the market, however if all you eat is those you will be low on minerals, animo acids, etc so you need the greens and probably some superfoods as well) Also innocent smoothies are pasteurised (however lightly) so will not have the full range of enzymes you need to digest them meaning your body will have to use metabolic enzymes to digest them which means it can't use them for repair and healing. When I was eating a lot of junk food I had some innocent smoothie at a friends and thought it tasted wonderful and fresh and it certainly is an improvement on most people's diets, however when I was eating predominately raw food and had a sip of innocent smoothie I thought it tasted artifical and plasticky! I've started making 2 litres of green smoothie in the morning and add a few icecubes then take them to work and drink them throughout the day. They definitely keep the length of the day. I used a cheapy £30 blender for a long time before I upgraded so it doesn't have to be expensive.
