Question Gluten, dairy, wheat and meat free recipes

Hi, I’m would like to try on 30 days trial on these diets. Anyone can recommend any some recipes that free from gluten, dairy, wheat and meat? Or you can list the food that contain these so that I can try to avoid them. Thanks in advance.

p/s: i'm not used to cook and have always been care less about the name of the food that i ate so i might need more explanation from you guys later on.

sorry should be "meat" not "meet" in the title

What I can tell you is plan to eat a lot of rice. Any dish you would normally have with pasta, you'll be making with rice instead. There are gluten free substitutes for bread and pasta in the natural foods section of the supermarket, but they are usually pretty poor substitutes for the real thing. You can also eat other grains besides wheat, so oatmeal can be a healthy breakfast instead of cereal.

I would recommend what is commonly called the Paleolithic Diet, in that it mirrors what early humans ate during the Paleolithic period: leafy greens, fruit and meat, but unfortunately you've ruled meat out too. This adds some challenges, for instance keeping up your protein and iron levels. Prepare to eat a lot of beans, soy, or nuts.

If you're ruling out meat for health reasons, I'd ask you to reconsider and google the Paleolithic diet for more info. If you have a moral or spiritual reason to avoid meat, then so be it.

I follow an excellent blog called The Gluten-Free Goddess. [Gluten Free] Goddess

She has some excellent-sounding recipes and advice.

I’ve checked with a few local organic health stores and found out that they have soy milk and 1-2 types of gluten-free spaghetti. I also asked about free range egg but they do not have it.

Anyway by having the soy milk, and the spaghetti, I think I will be able to try the diets combine with lots of vegetables and fruits.

p/s: the price of gluten-free spaghetti is almost triple of the normal spaghetti price.

I'm looking for strict vegetarian wheat free stuff, if anyone knows of any good places to check. I've got a couple of cookbooks, which is a great start. But I'm looking for more. I've been veg*n for about 25 years, so I've got that down to a science, but I've only just recently gone wheat free and don't know much about it. I really don't know what to do without good, hearty bread! And I keep accidentally buying/ordering food that has wheat in it (onion rings, (non-dairy) ice-cream sandwiches), which is pretty amusing for it's "duh" moment, but then the cramps start...

I have been eating a lot of Japanese and Chinese food (which is made easier since I have an Asian market a couple of blocks away from my home), since they don't have much wheat in their basic diet. Spring rolls are one of my new favorite foods!

Look at the raw-vegan sites, there was a thread earlier about raw vegan foods, and they tend to not use grains much. I've been using the recipe book from Australias Largest Raw Food Diet Community and Superstore - Home which has some great recipes.

Joy to you

Andrew Michaels is an unknown quantity at this point
Default This is the one you want.

I'm a vegan who has a gluten intolerance, so I feel your pain. This site has a ton of recipes that are gluten free and healthy to boot. Just ignore the few that use gluten bearing grains.

Good luck.
