Ok, I've listened to the China Study audio book and I'm interested in trying a diet with much lower or no milk, meat, or eggs. But I need recipes and examples of meals with replacements for these foods, or I'm never going to do this! Aren't there any websites out there with meal suggestions and recipes for vegetarians? I'm having trouble finding one.

Two of my favorites: VegWeb.com - Vegan Recipes and Cooking Tips Vegan Recipes :: Soup is On! (ETA: Dan beat me to it!) Becoming Vegan is a good resource book. You can make pretty much any food you already like vegan just by replacing certain ingredients. There are vegan equivalents of: milk, eggs, butter, meat, etc. |

Any and every recipe just replace meat for tofu and/or vegetables soy milk for milk and simple substitutions same goes for ordering at restaurants, you can have pretty much everything on a vegetarian diet, just replace the meat with tofu or vegetables or eggs/whites if you eat them. Best to you! |

I second the post punk kitchen. I also like Fat Free Vegan - Fatfree Vegan Kitchen 101 Cookbooks - 101 Cookbooks - Recipe Journal SmarterFitter Recipes - SmarterFitter Blog » Recipe Okay the last one is my website... hope you don't mind the plug. But I do cook a lot of high-protein veggie foods, all vegetarian, usually vegan, and most are pretty easy. Let me know if you have any questions.. Monica |

Check out my Squidoo lens for some ideas. A rather shameless plug, but might be useful |
