Default 30 Days without bread and butter!!

Hello Team,

Well I seem to have replaced my sugar addiction with bread and butter which I did not used to eat. I can hardly speak I am so clogged. Yuk. How do I stop this?

1.I remember that I have successfully stopped before.
2.I stop procrastinating about replacing bread and butter with healthy delicious carbs like bananas and oranges and carrots and broccoli.
3.I remember that every day counts. it is no longer good enough to say "Tomorrow will do"
4.I am strong and gorgous and inspiring and if there is an emotional reason for continually stuffing crap into my body, I am courageous enough to address it in a loving way!!!

Anyone else want to add anything to this fabulous list????

Love love love
Stella

Raw flax crackers with guacamole will help unclog you and will also probably help with the cravings. Also be sure to drink lots of water with the flax crackers.

Applauds to you! You should be really proud! I´m trying to quit sugars as well and it´s so hard, I´m failing every day.... 30 days is great, so don´t be too hard on yourself bacause of the bread. One step at a time... Psylllium seeds are really effective if you’re clogged, take a couple of tablespoons before meals should do it. And drinking water helps if you are clogged too, so remember to drink.

Default Day 2

Well it has been very easy far. I am putting a little energy into mental visions which have helped a lot.

i always have a mini eski of food with me, so have healthy stuff on hand when I am hungry. I often end up eating steamed brocolli on the train on the way to work at peak hour. This used to make me feel weird and strange. I thought everyone would think I had an eating disorder.

After a little visualization about the body I would like to have, I find myself fascinated by the beauty of the flowery greeness and eat my brocolli with joy and gratitude to the earth for the beautiful food.

If anyone thinks this is over the top, I challenge you to eat broccoli in the train at 8:30am peak hour. I bet you will need to be conscious about what you are thinking about, in order to pull it off!

Anyway butter is discusting and I feel 100% better than I did a few days ago.

Thanks for tuning in

Default oops

I know it totally defeats the purpose of a 30 day trial to change the rules on day 4, but I am doing that. I go shopping with a friend once a week and we always have tea and a delicious tuna melt in a cafe. I would like to change the rules to having this 1 slice of bread (and I guess butter) a week.

I am fallable. How confronting!!

I love bread and butter, too. What I do is keep the butter out of the house but I will eat bread, however, with olive oil on it and a little salt. That's how the Italians do it. It's delicious and it's not saturated fat.

I'm a bit confused here.
You started the 30 day sugar-free diet on 11th May, then started a 30 day bread-and-butter-free diet on 28th May. Were you doing both at the same time?

Yes, I had to because I became quite ill from all the butter. Except I did not last 30 days, just ten or so. But anyway it got me out if the bread and butter habit so that I was not compulsive about it.

Anyway, I have succeeded in my 30 day sugar free quest, so I will start again and cut out dairy.
Will think about what I am eating rather than what I am not eating. So what I eating is mostly fresh fruit and veges with some oats and rice milk for breakfast. Sounds easy doesn't it??

That's really well done. I'm glad you didn't give up. Good luck with the next 30 days.
