I did go through the adaption period last week. En ehm... I ended up to go for everyman sleep schedule. My initial timeschedule was: 6:00 12:00 18:00 naps and then fill in the time between 18:00 and 6:00 First I went for uberman but I failed two times to pass the second day. Now, the second time went better and stayed more stable. So things were growing. But the REM deprivation and missing a good plan on paper did my mind go for weaker options. In this case just had a some sleep cycles of 1.5 hour. What I learned: I certainly like to give my body time for rest in a 'normal' way more than I thought. I appreciate it now much more. And for next time, if I want to go for Uberman Sleep Schedule I have to focus on the time 1:00 - 6:00 on the second day. That was very difficult. Perhaps just playing light chess on the internet for a 3.5 hour will work. Cause I don't expect I can do anything else usefull. With all the time in the world, and time to nap for 25 minutes for as much as I want, the unconsciousness should adapt I think. Anyway my new sleepschedule is now: 6:00, 12:00, 18:00 naps and a core cycle of 2 -3 of 1.5 hours. I think somehow the Everyman sleepschedule is the way to go for me. I also had that sense of knowing before I went through this adaption period. Just Be. |
