Question Anyone knows about foam rollers? (self myofascial release)

The past 10 years of my life I've had chronic pain in my upper back and neck. Also I am suffering from poor posture. So I really need this. I want to buy a foam roller but there are so many choices. For example what is the difference between high-density and low-density foam rollers? Also should I get a 1ft roller and save money or get the 3ft roller?

Many different choices of foam rollers;

I'm also thinking of getting a theracane.

I LOVE foam rollers!!!!!!!!! (Excuse my excitement. )

I was just telling someone about this the other day... They're really good for people with back pain and bad posture. My shoulders are slightly medially rotated, so laying with my spine vertically along a foam roller feels like heaven... It's so relaxing. It really opens up your chest.

I'm not an expert on this though, so I'm really not sure which kind is the best. But I've been using one by the brand Stott Pilates, which is high-density, and pretty high quality. It's made from EVA foam, so it's firm but soft (if that makes sense). ...I also like that it has little grippy things, so it's not a shiny or slippery surface.

^No! Get the long one. You won't regret it.

I definitely won't regret it. I'm all psyched up. Finally no more back problems!
