IFeelGood is on a distinguished road
Default Shoulder Injury

I have had 2 experiences which compounded have caused a rotator cuff injury. After doing a lot of reading about it, I am convinced that this is my problem. Everything I have read says that there is really not much that a doctor can do for it except to advise heat and anti-inflammatory medication to help with the pain. In certain cases, they may inject cortisone into the shoulder to relieve pain or in severe cases, surgery but only as a last resort.

I am trying to heal this on my own but it is a very slow process and sometimes very frustrating. I am an athletic person and right now, I feel very limited in activities that involve the shoulder. I am a runner and am grateful for that.

So far, I am trying to do stretching and other pt to keep what I have and try to improve. I am starting to learn about EFT and am wondering if anyone else can share positive experiences they have had in treating this type of injury.

Right now, I have trouble even putting my hair in a ponytail or lifting a shirt over my head. I don't know what I would do if I had a child to care for.

I know it is a small disability compared with what others may suffer in life. I don't want to complain about it too much and am very grateful for the good health that I do have but would love to heal this 100%. There is always such great advice on these boards, I would love any input.

Thanks!
Tee
