I have sniffles and a sore throat and a little dizzyness. I've had this about 3 times in the past 2 months. I think they're sinus infections. I've gotten completely healthy after each time though. I need to be healthy this week. I have a lot going on (yeah the stress won't help haha). What should I do? All I can think of is rest, try to eat only raw food, and think positive. hi! I am an elementary school music teacher, so I am constantly exposed to tons of little germs!! When I feel the cold coming on, I drink this stuff called "Air-borne." It's basically a bunch of immune boosting vitamins in a powder form. Drink it a few times a day when you are feeling run-down. The teachers swear by it!!! Oh, you can get it at Walgreens |

There are two things I do when I feel like I'm coming down with a cold, and I've found they reduce both the length of the time I'm sick and the severity of my symptoms. 1. Dissolve salt in a bowl of warm water until it's about a salty as seawater. Add some baking soda as well. Inhale the water through your nose and into the back of your throat, gargle, and spit it out. Repeat multiple times for each nostril. This is not always easy, and may make your eyes water, but it will clean out the crud in your nose and throat and make you feel better. 2. Fill an eyedropper with hydrogen peroxide, tilt your head, and drip the peroxide into your ear canal. Keep your head tilted for a few minutes. You will hear the peroxide bubbling in your ear canal. Repeat on the other side. Do these every day in the morning and the evening until you are feeling better. |

Airborne rocks. Take it with zinc. For some reason the world's best cold minimizer has no zinc? I don't recommend Zycam nasal spray. There are some reports of permanent loss of the sense of smell. Neti pot is cool and I have had some good results. Eating only raw vegetables when the first signs of a cold appear have helped me. Avoid all dairy products they create mucus. Avoid all sugars and high glycemic fruits...sugar feeds cold germs. Jennifer |
