Hi, I am wondering if the creatine monohydrate powder from GNC brand are okay quality to get and will works okay? Or should I get my creatine from another brand other than GNC? What is the quality of those from GNC compared to a brand like Prolab, etc? Last edited by toby123456; 04-28-2008 at 09:55 PM. |

Hi I recomend kre alkalyn. I use it and you wont get the kind of bloated feeling that you get from monohydrate. You can find it both in powder and capsule form but you will save if you use in powder form. I'm on a more than 50% raw diet but I still use my suplements as I'm consideing to stop using them at some point but keeping a few good ones as yet. I've been lifting for a year now and can honestly tell you most supplement have a minor effect. You really need to eat more calories. The only other thing that definitely made a difference to my energy levels was tribulus. But that worked well for me since I'm a female. If you're young man it may not have much effect on you. If you're looking for more endurance then you might want to have a look at citroline malat (spelling ?) I've heard really good things about it. ALso it seems to increase vascularity as well. enjoy training Somi |

Oh. the GNC one doesn't have the creapure logo... So I guess it's a bit inferior then? Too bad I already bought it and opened it, I guess I will have to finish this bottle first. But does anyone else knows if the GNC brand creatine is still okay?

Different people can respond differently to various products Toby. I know some people who swear by some creaines and some others think otherwise. Juts go with it and see how your body responds to it. From what I know, if you already have a lot of red meet in your diet chances are that creatine won't do much for you! But give it a try and see all the best somi |

Thanks somi. How is kre alkalyn doing for you? I heard good things about 'Creatine ethyl ester' too and that it is similar to 'kre alkalyn'? Have you tried that? I think I will try one of those product after I finish my monohydrate powder.

For the most part, the active ingredient, creatine is pretty much the same, but many manufacturers combine it with agents that allow you to absorb it more or deliver it better. If you still think it is too cheap too be good, just take a little more!!!!!!!
