I am a football player in HS, and just finished my first year of varsity football (I'm a junior). I was just wondering if anyone could give me some resources/advice/insight on mastering the mind in competition. Some games I would dominate, yet others I would play completely terrible. I don't conciously know how to master my mind for games. |

Hey, I've had the same problems as you, with me it was a matter of being very pessimistic. I've noticed that the best players on my baseball and basketball teams are optimistic. You might want to check this optimism book out, it's one of Steve recommendations: Amazon.com: Learned Optimism: How to Change Your Mind and Your Life: Books: Martin E. Seligman |
