Default Alternative dentistry?

I've had a monster toothache last two days. Half of my head actually hurts.. I've always had pretty bad teeth. They're looking quite white and somewhat straight(although they really aren't. but they look so. See. )

But I'm very scared of dentists. Every time I go there it's painful and it's even worse if the appointment is in the a.m. - my head and tooth then hurts for the whole remainder of the day.

Are there any pain-free alternatives??

Get really drunk, get out your pliers and just hope for the best.

Or you could try homeopathy but I doubt it would work.

But just to put things in perspective for you, I went to the dentists yesterday and he injected, drilled and hacked away at one of my teeth and i didn't feel a damn thing so..its not THAT bad.

Last time I saw a dentist, I had a huge hole in one of my teeth, and the nerve reached out. And then she touched a nerve with some scalpel or whatever...

I think even Chuck Norris is allowed to fear dentist.

Yeah, the dentist can be pretty painful, but just imagine how much worse the pain will get as you let your teeth rot away inside your mouth.

Well, I have read a page or two about alternative toothcare, that made mainly the point that via the right mindset, the right care and the right food especially, teeth can regenerate themselves (at least to a pont where decay does not continue, but stops and the tooth hardens out).

I am rather scepticala bout it, to put it mildly, but perhaps you want to try... search abit for alternative toothcare or something like that, my links wouldn't be very helpful as the pages were German.

To speak of myself, since I quitted seing my dentist for such things as root canals and just let my body deal with it, my teeth are much better, but I have no "holes" in it, so this is another issue.

Use sedation dentistry. It's in the phone book.
