Exclamation Breaking a juice fast advice! My friend overate!

Alright I went on...well currently on a liquid fast. I say liquid because I have diluted juice, herbal teas, and water. My best friend was interested in doing the fast with me, and I thought very cool! Finally someone (outside this forum) would be accepting of fasting. I tend to do a 3-day fast at least once a month, sometimes more.

Anyway this is my third day, but last night apparently she binged like no other. She called me crying about what to do, and I told her it was okay. To think like a diet, you binged just accept and continue doing a healthy lifestyle. However this is not working too well. So any advice is appreciated, because I want her to see that other people have done it too or here is advice from more experienced fasters. I still think I am a beginner to fasting.

She ate: 1 large cheese pizza and 1/2 gallon of light (the diet kind)ice cream.

Also she right now is not feeling well. Even in normal circumstances that amount of food would make a person feel sick, but for someone coming off of even a short fast- how bad is this for her?

Though this was orignally about my friend I feel I need to post on some public forum to keep up my liquid fasting! So far everything has been going great! After today it will be my 4 1/2 day and I do feel like I have more energy! I feel great and the teas really help. I mostly have green tea but if I feel major cravings I will take a sweeter tea (if dilluted cranberry juice doesn't work) and the cravings are gone like that! Normally I don't have this response, but I think it is because I did a colon cleanse.

I took magnesium citrate (don't take it every time you do a fast!) because it is what doctors recommend when a person does a colonoscopy. It is like a liquid laxative that cleans you out. Because it is a laxative you shouldn't take it on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis because it will screw up your digestive system. However because I did that there were less toxins in my colon to keep me bogged down and dealing with a major health crisis. So I think it helped my overall fasting along!

However here is where I need some advice. When breaking a fast take small meals such as fruit or a little salad. Now I have turned down some parties and dinner invites because it is awkward saying I am fasting to groups of people. Typically I get a negative response. I am not anorexic! Anyway I am going out next Thurs. to celebrate a friend's promotion. We will be going to a restaurant and I already looked at the menu- the healthiest things are cajun chicken salad and spinach salad. Is it possible for me to keep this fast till Thursday and let me taking one of the salads to break it? What do you all think?
