| If it shift my sleep schedule to another hour, how long until my body acclimates and feels good and not tired ? I wake up now and feel tired and drag my feet until my noon time nap. I wake up at 6am and go to bed at 10or 10:30 Been doing this for 4 months, but since some times I won't wake up at 6 and sleep in, I think I throw my body out of whack and I have to start all over again. Shouldn't my body get used to this and not be tired after about a week of this? In the morning I get about 30 minutes of sunshine or about 10,000 lux or light from my lamps. This should get my circadian rhythm normalized, right? Unfortunately, I don't usually get the lights in my eye first thing in the Am and usually 20 minutes after so this might mess this up? Should I exercise in the Am to set my circadian rhythm straight? How long until I would feel the affects? Oh, I'm 23 female who eats reasonably healthy. No sugar and very little caffeine. Eat meat though, follow the Eat Right for your Type protien diet, which means 40% protien, 30%fats, 30%carbs. Take vitamins, fish oil, Rhodiola Rosea (herb), Ashwangandha (herb). I don't eat any veggies or fruit, however and instead eat beans, brown rice, quinoa/corn noodles, kasha, almonds, flax seed, walnuts, hamburgers, turkey burgers and chicken. I don't eat any wheat or gluten as last week I detected a possible sensitivity and didn't want to bother with that. Same with milk products. I drink 10 glasses of water a day and make sure to get plenty of sunlight and vitamin d. The water does have flouride in it, though. (thyroid probs, maybe?) I cansupply more info if needed. |

| The only other thing i would mention, depending how long your fatigue last etc. is to look into adrenal stress, candida etc. What with your good diet, and it is good, you might already know a bit about those subject. Im guessing if the fatigue goes quite soonish, then surmise it would be just a Rhythm change... see what i mean im chronically fatiguedl, but my hormones are out of wack as is my thryoid.. anyway lol |

I do notice this morning I'm more awake then yesterday. I did have the bright lights on when I woke up, although I did get up at 6:30 instead. Yesterday I didn't do it until about 7 or so. |

I do believe I have/had adrenal fatigue. I've been taking the two herbs above and several vitamins for it. I started doing the vitamins in late Nov and the herbs in early Jan. Been exercising since Sep (helps with adrenal fatigue) but stopped a few weeks ago because it's to time consuming. I guess this might be the answer possibly, but the fatigue mostly goes away after my noon nap. Also, the herbs I mentioned are supposed to give you energy, but I think for me it just makes me not so tired. When I cycled the Rhodiola (not take it for a week . I'm supposed to do that every 6 weeks for this herb) I noticed I was more tired through the whole day then when I took it, so for me at this point it just makes me break even. It has been about 4 months and I was hoping the adrenal fatigue would be mostly gone, though I know that it usually takes 3 months to 2 years. Candida is another thing I might have. I guess I'll have to start being more aggressive in that as I started using garlic everyday a few weeks ago and I've sorta stopped. Garlic helps kill it off. Even then it will take a few moths to get back to normal. If you have thyroid problems the first thing to do is stop everything with fluoride. Fluoride is a nuerotoxin which affects the thyroid. It's in water (that is not filtered through reverse osmosis- most is not), toothpaste, and all non-herbal teas. Since you have both thyroid and hormonal problems it make me thing it's a probably adrenal fatigue, but it could be something else too. Those herbs I mentioned normalize the HPA (hypothalamus, pituitary, adrenal) axis and help normalize your hormones and thyroid as well as many other parts of your body as well. Check into it if you'd like. Glad you mentioned the thyroid because it might possibly be one reason that might be affecting me too and I'm going to start on the flouride-free water(already took care of the toothpaste). |

| You might be a natural owl. Someone who tends to wake up late and go to sleep late.
