Ok...so I wrote a thread yesterday about panic attack which I did have but it seems it's because Im feeling ill (so my doctor told me) I have been feeling fluish for almost a week now but it hasnt come out fullblown yet!!!! What I find strange is...doesnt the flu just come on really quickly???? It seems my mom is feeling the same thing soooo it looks like there's going to be a few people sick this weekend!!!! So the question is...how do you deal with the flu (naturally if possible) I dont take conventional meds...any home remedies you can offer??? |

Well that is a bit odd...it usually starts, develops and finishes. However one explanation is that your body may be trying to fight it and hence it wins/loses kind of idea. Another thing you should consider is if it is actually the flu? There are many illnesses that have "flu-like" symptoms. As for natural healing, well since the flu is a virus, stay away from anitbiotics or even any of that over the counter sutff. The anitbiotics are meant for bacterial infections and the OTC stuff just supresses your symtpoms, but does not take them away and you get all the toxins that need to be cleaned out of your liver. The best way to get rid of a virus is to let your body fight it naturally, and hence proper diet, fluids and lots and lots of rest for a few days. You could try things like echinacea, ginseng or coldfx to give your immune system a boost, but that is about it. Some people believe in those products and some don't. What else is great for things whether they are bacterial, viral or fungal is Oil of Oregano, if you buy the pure one, it comes in a little tincture and you put a drop or two under your tongue. If you use this let it get absorbed naturally as it will not taste pleasant and maybe even burn a little if you try to taste it or swallow it too quickly. Hope that helps and wish you well |
