We've been lucky this year -- most relatives handed over cash rather than chocolate! I do, however, have a Lindt Gold Bunny and a rather large Cadbury luxury egg that I plan on rationing out to make them last as long as possible ... mmmm! I came across a great article a couple of days ago (posted a link to it on my blog in The Office Diet » Recipes for using up excess Easter chocolate) with some quite impressive sounding cakes for using up left over eggs/mini chocolates from Easter. It reminded me of how, in past years, I've melted down extra eggs for chocolate biscuit cake topping... So I wondered, do any of you use Easter chocolate in recipes? If so, what're you planning on making -- and who'll you be sharing the results with? (Kids, friends, colleagues?) Ali

That is a great idea to make stuff out of them.... If you really have a lot consider donating them to a food shelter or so. I know it is after Easter and it is chocolate we are talking about, but I am sure that some less fortunate families did not see any chocolate this Easter or maybe for a while at all. |
