| If you're studying with a good friend... I'd add, "tickle fight!" Laughing is wonderfully recharging. I would usually get up, grab a snack and some hydration, and stare off into space for a while. My eyes tend to get tired around the time my brain does.

| Hah, I've tried TV. Guess for how many minutes I got stuck? Too many. If we say that the average TV-show is 30 minutes, considering you probably shouldn't spend an entire 30 minutes resting (I think 5-15 max), if you do as I do you will want to see the entire show. You'll most likely see the first half, commercial = getting back to a little reading, then see the rest of the show, unless you are disciplined. Urgh, it hasn't worked out for me, I always get stuck wanting "just to see a little bit more". If you're a bit more disciplined than me though and think you can handle that, great, TV is a nice break from studying. Personally I do as elainevdw, grab something edible (read: fresh apple) and something to drink (read: clean water), and might do as you suggested, listen to some music - it is wonderfully refreshing. Laying down on bed is not too bad either. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread, other people's advices will certainly benefit. |
