| I just got a self development email this morning claiming that there are 5 rituals brought back from an ancient Tibetan monastary that help you look up to 30 years younger 'in just 10 minutes a day'. Apparently Martin Sheen uses it, as well as John Gray and Bradley Thompson. Has anyone purchased that program, and if so, what are the 5 rituals? It seems really too good to be true, but you never know. I just don't want to spend $40 dollars for knowledge that was so generously given to them by Tibetan monks, especially with how Tibet has and is being treated. Thanks. E |

| If I looked 30 years younger I'd barely be a glimmer in my dad's eye!!! But in all seriousness, I don't put much stock in what unsolicited emails tell me. I personally wouldn't buy such a product.

| Healthy diet(eating more veggies than meat, eventually excluding meat all together), exercise, meditation, massage(esp facial massage) and eventually if you have money Fraxel/Mixto laser + some of the collagen rejuvenation lasers (plus maybe Botox for complete relaxation of facial muscles but personally that would be the last thing i would recommend). Also a HGH therapy. BTW buy the book book Younger You by Eric R. Braverman. |

| There are couple of books out there that teaches it. I borrowed it from library. Its theory sounds valid...activating the chakras and keeping it balanced helps you look young. I have not done it consistently to notice the results. Worth a try. |

| My mum bought that book several years ago... I borrowed it off her (don't know if she ever used it!) errm and I've had it for almost 15 years |

| An ancient Tibetan monastery?....Sounds like marketing hype to me - I would avoid it. Plus, do Tibetans look younger than everyone else? Ditto what Mayo said - You want 5 rituals? How about: healthy diet, exercise, weight-training, cardio, meditation.

| Though seemingly lighthearted, I think Angela is dead on here. I was just talking about this with family this weekend; I know people who seemingly break every "rule" in the book, health wise, and yet they seem to thrive if they are in a relationship, laugh a lot, have lots of human touch, feel loved.etc....then others who maybe have experienced grief, have little meaningful human contact, despite "healthy living" sometimes face more health challenges. I believe it's a very important subject. |

| I don't know if you paid the $40 or not. I found the same site and was considering buying the program as well when I decided to see if I could find it for free. I found the following link which may or may not be what they were advertising, but it's free and I figured after reading it that I wasn't going to get much more for $40. They are called the 5 tibetan rites. Here is the link: Print Version - Five Tibetan Rites Last edited by MasterD : 05-01-2008 at 08:31 AM. Reason: Edit: I saw Iceberg already gave a great link. |
