Check out John Stone Fitness - Welcome! if you haven't already. This guy changed his body by working out at home. He's also got a helpful forum and you can ask questions there in case you don't get the answers you want from here.

Jump rope is excellent aerobic exercise, and you don't need much room. Ten minutes of jump rope will get your heart racing!
Also, sometimes when I am hardcore studying for hours, I will start to get tired and drained. Instead of taking a nap (which is what I really want to do), I have tried taking 30 - 45 minutes to do a series of yoga poses and breathing. It re-energizes the body and mind without the groggy feeling that I get from a nap.

Ever heard of Tae-Bo by Billy Blanks, I have Frank-bo, by me...

I'll make a free video and post it eventually, I'm not kidding. With that and jogging/running and a very healthy vegetarian diet, I've lost almost 20 pounds in the last six weeks.

The idea is simple. Move around, like crazy! doing whatever you want. Stretches, jumping jacks, isometrics, push ups, shadow boxing. You have to make yourself sweat, the sooner the better. Do this for 25-30 minutes 5 or 6 times a week and eat only vegetables and fruits and grains and legumes and nuts and seeds. No dairy, no eggs, no animal products, be vegan like Steve.

The how is easy, the challenge is summoning and maintaining the will to say it shall be. I think.

Default Cardio ball

By the way, the Shovelglove is awesome. Cracked me UP.

I had the same problem--I live in the bay area (SF area) and usually I run, but I was stuck in the middle of the month when it actually rains here (it's funny--I'm from the East Coast and when I first got here people got their panties in a bunch over a little rain and cold, but now I'm one of them!). I didn't want to run--cold AND wet is torture--so I went on Amazon to look for workout I could do at home that was really good. I found this one by Gaiam, this hippy-dippy eco-friendly, yoga-ey, pilates-ey, mother-earth-ey kind of company, so there's a bit of that with this, but it's called the Cardio Balance Ball workout with Tanja Djelevic, and I LOVE it. You need to buy a balance ball, though. But the ball's great because it works your core and gets your abs and legs in really great shape. It's more for women, though. Well...maybe. Depends on what you're looking for. Anyway, if you go to Amazon and type in "cardio balance ball" you'll find it. The instructor is AWESOME--not overly energetic, but positive and really cool.

She also has one out called Cardio Dance Fusion or something. Haven't tried it yet, but I do want to buy it.
