I am 5'6" tall and weigh about 84 kgs. My previous half hearted attempts at weight reduction have all been ... you know... A few days back, on a train journey, this guy talked about a diet which helped him to reduce his weight from 99kg to around 75 kg. He called it GM Diet. I searched on the Net and found this link I have started this diet today. Let's see how it goes |

Stop this diet immediately, it's ridiculous. "As many as eight bananas" Dosen't Steve eat more than that per meal during his current Raw Food experiment? I wouldn't do this diet, seems wayyyy out of control. Losing 10 pound a week isn't healthy. Try 10 a month. Also, when you put yourself on such a restrictive diet you are prone to fail. Because it is completely not sustainable. You couldn't eat this way forever could you? Then whats going to happen is you will starve yourself during the diet and then once you finally cave (and you will, because this diet is not sustainable) you will go back to your prior (current) diet and gain all the weight back and maybe more. Did you check out the site? Null Space : Homepage of Ravindra Jaju thats the index page, the author begins the website with: "Hi. I am Ravindra Jaju, a megalomaniac." In case any one is wondering, Megalomaniac = A psychopathological condition characterized by delusional fantasies of wealth, power, or omnipotence. This is hilarious

I've made massive lifestyle changes in eating, but I play with my diet. Quote:
Sunder, I do think there are better ways of doing this. The long term stuff is a kick in the butt. What's your diet like now?
