Herbal teas and Rooibos don't.
That's because herbal 'tea' is not actually tea, and therefore largely does not contain the same antioxidant benefits. Herbal or fruit 'teas' are more accurately called tisanes or infusions.

The level of caffeine in green tea is actually very low, lower than in coffee, Coke, Mountain Dew, dark chocolate, Yerba Mate and even Excedrin tablets.

Green tea, black tea, and coffee are all great sources of antioxidants. I prefer coffee, but you can only drink so much before the jitters. Green tea has a low enough caffeine content that I don't notice it whereas I drink black tea more as a substitute/alternative to coffee.

The Chinese have a vast knowledge of herbs. When they saw that tea maybe the most beneficial herb, the elite in China would drink it. Then the common people learned that it was easy to grow and now they will not give up their tea for all the tea in China. White tea has more anti-oxidants than the black and green but the white tea is more for the elite people in society.

I vote for green tea due to its antioxidant properties, plus it tastes better in my opinion, especially with a wad of sugar

The fermentation process used to make black tea converts EGCg into other compounds, these compounds contained in black tea - theaflavins and thearubigens - do more than contribute to its dark color and distinctive flavor. They also provide health benefits originally attributed solely to green tea.

I am a fitness model, and to be honest, I had the same concern regarding both. I tried green tea, but it always left me craving the taste of black tea, in addition, i always felt like when i exert myself with work out, i always felt like I was missing something with the green tea. When i drink black, i honestly do not have any cravings for it. Additionally, i feel more relaxed and satisfied. And reading a couple of articles, i noticed that some research has shown black tea is better. So.. i guess it comes down to how we all feel about it.
