| I've been weightlifting on and off for several months in addition to running on a regular basis. But, I don't really know much about weightlifting or working out in general. I have access to a variety of different machines, more than I even know how to use. Can any fitness gurus suggest some reading, online or print, that might help me? My goal is not necessarily to gain muscle mass or to lose weight, but to maintain a healthy body and increase my energy. |

| the Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding by Arnold Shwarzenegger is a good one.

| Just make sure to add the Anabolics that Arnold used in his Hayday if you want to follow his workout and have it be effective.

| You might want to have a look at some Stuart McRobert books. They are ideal for the natural beginner weightlifter/bodybuilder who's looking to further their knowledge about the subject and make no mistake Stuart knows his stuff. I highly recommend Beyond Brawn. |
