Default meal plan

Hi guys,

I'm just recently decided to go on a diet, and hopefully shed a few pounds. I've previously received a lot of good health advice from this site, so I thought I'd post a copy of my meal plan for the week. Please let me know what you think of it, and also what you think could use some change. Please feel free to post your meal ideas as well.

Wednesday:

Breakfast: Three clementines
Lunch: chicken salad
Dinner: Tomato soup
Snack - Strawberries and Raspberries

Thursday:

Breakfast: Blueberries
Snack: walnuts
Lunch: chicken salad
Dinner: Beef Stir-fry
Snack: Clementines

Friday:

Breakfast -banana
Snack-almonds
lunch-michelina
Dinner: Feta Cheese Salad
Snack:Green Apple

(I live a pretty sedentary lifestyle, so I do not need to consume a tremendous amount of calories)

Personally, I couldn't live on that few a calories. I'd get light headed and tired and just generally cranky. Then to take care of all those feelings, I'd scarf down a pizza or a donut or something.

Have you figured out your BMI?
Do you know how many calories you need to consume to lose a safe amount of weight in a safe amount of time?

Good luck!

I don't think that's enough food. I would suggest adding some calories to that diet and just making sure you stick to it. I'm sure if you added a few hundred more calories you'd still be able to lose weight

3 clementines for breakfast and soup for dinner? that's like 300 or less calories for 2 whole meals......

not sustainable for long, in my opinion.
