I have been on a mission to drop some pounds and get into better shape. So, I have been going to the gym everyday since Dec 7th. Im on a streak of 25 days in a row... and getting ready to go there right now. 100 days in a row, doing different body parts each time, I feel will have a profound effect on my health. Feel free to join me. |

Admirable. I don't know the nature of your training, but many people instead might choose to have days to rest within a given time interval (e.g. some people have an off-day during a week). Just be wary of overtraining and good luck in your quest! |

I was looking for a challenge like this. Day 2 for me. Emphasis on daily cardio, I just finished rehabbing my back so I'll be easing back into weights. Doctor told me monday I was good to go, but I've packed on a disgusting 35 pounds of fat during lengthy rehab. |

Yes, keep us updated. I don't need to loose weight, I actually need to gain weight. But I'd like to know how this ends. Most people say working out everyday causes problems or gives you the reverse effect. Are you training hard or moderate? I think if you train hard, you definitely need to take a few days off. |

I sort of agree with Sunj, if your training hard you've gotta wonder if your not overtraining. Then again as far as I know the professional olympic lifters train like three times a day, everyday! ... But then again their professionals and their good genetics may sort of make this acceptable for them. Exercise is great for you though, as we all know. I documented a few of its physical and pyschological benefits in on my website: Total Wellbeing: The Many Benefits of Exercise, Part 1: Anyway, I will be very curious to see how you go over the hundred days. Prehaps you could make general notes on how it is influencing your weight, strength and sense of wellbeing (ie do you feel tired, or uncomfortable, or in fact more awake... do you find otherstuff easier etc)... I hope this does not lead to injury in anyway as that would be most unforunate. If it doesn't though it might through a spanner in the works of the whole "rest day" concept. Best of luck with it all and happy lifting. |
