| Over the last few months I've become a bigger and bigger fan of green vegetable juice (typically celery, cucumber, parsley, kale, spinach, etc. with usually some lemon, apple and/or beet for flavor). I'm wondering what the best way is to increase my intake of these. I have both a juicer and a Blendtec (like a Vitamix). Here are the pros/cons of each: Juicer Pros -Pretty easy to down juice Cons -Pain/time consuming to set-up and clean up -Not getting everything (e.g., fiber) Blendtec/Vitamix Pros -Super easy to set up and clean up -Get the whole food Cons -The drink isn't as easy to consume as juice I'm curious as to who else here is a fan of fresh green drinks and how you do them. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

| Green smoothies tend to work best for me on getting all of my greens! And it tastes really good! You just add anytype of typically "green" veggie with some fruits to balance out the taste. So you get all the benefits of the juice, but with little clean-up. Just put the blender in the dishwasher and you are done! |
