Heavy food meaning rich food: Cream sauces, beef, pork, thick and heart rolls, ROBUST food. Where are you from and I can tell you some of your dishes that fit this description! A light meal would be something like a salad or maybe some soup and crackers. |

For light foods? Soup like chicken noodle or tomato with some fat free saltines is light and delicious. I like bagged salad with a vinaigrette, chopped tomatoes, olives, and mushrooms. Most Lean Cuisine frozen dinners are okay if you're in a pinch. Also you can toast some whole grain bread, and top with a little chopped tomato, cooked chicken breast, a little mozzarella, and garlic salt. Broil this and you have delicious bruschetta. |

For me, (and I heard this by proffesionals too) Its best not to eat at all 4 hours at least before going to bed. and some even suggest (and its gives a great feeling)preferably not after 6pm. for me a good menu would be: fruit in the morning, salad and goat cheese at lunch, rice and cooked vegs in the evening |
