Hey, This has never happened to me. I'm 25 years old, always had a pretty high sex drive, masturbated regularly and whatnot. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago when I met this incredible girl. My sex drive plummets, I have masturbated only once after I met her, and I really don't even get my "regular" erections. I haven't made any changes to my lifestyle. Is it possible that the "love chemicals" are messing up my sex drive or could it be something else? We want to have sex, but I really don't have the drive. Could it all be just performance anxiety in bed? I hate this situation!

Sounds like it could be performance anxiety, especially since you and she haven't leapt into bed yet. But there can be organic causes too. Avid bicyclists sometimes have problems. Bicycle seats can cause minor - but reversible - tissue damage to one's reproductive paraphernalia. But frankly, I just think it's nerves and "newness." Nothing that can't easily be overcome (no pun intended).

We have actually leaped into bed, but my body had other thoughts. So that definitely says performance anxiety. But what bugs me, is that I don't even have the regular drive, I though performance anxiety only affects your erection and not your drive. With my regular sex drive, I'd be going crazy right now

| Do you consume a low cholesterol low natural fat diet ? If so, then the best cure for your low sex drive is a boiled organic egg each day. Quote:

I can't see how a boiled egg would cure my low sex drive? I haven't made any changes to my diet, and I've never had a low sex drive before. And this thing started the day after I met her the first time. It's not only with her, but also generally. I can't remember a single moment in my life I've been this long without ejaculating. But I guess I'll just have to focus on other things and let nature take its course. Just for the record, I eat a pretty good diet, get enough healthy fats, I do eat eggs from time to time, etc. so it shouldn't be a problem. Last edited by rikun : 11-08-2007 at 08:09 PM.
