| Lately I've been trying to wake up bright and early every moring, but I've been having some trouble. 1) most of the days I wake up early, I don't feel as energized and as "there" as usual. Some days I do, some days I'm up and ready to go. 2) When I get to bed earlier than usual, say 12 - 1 am. I seem to have trouble waking up early. But when I go to sleep at 2 - 3 am, my usual time I tend to wake up energized. I see to function better when I wake up later, but then the day seem too short. Any suggestions?

| Like Matt said, it takes time for the body to adapt. Usually for any given major change the body takes about 21 days to get used to it. That's why a 30-day trial is a good idea for things like switching to an earlier sleep time. |
