Default Losing your memory ?

My mom’s friend’s daughter passed out yesterday after being up all night with her friend and lost here memory.

They took her to the hospital and gave her some stuff to get it back. It’s ok now she is fine. She is very young like under 16. Is this common among young people?

I don't think memory loss is common. In the girl's case, it may have been caused by a viral infection or nutritional deficiency, which occasionally causes loss of consciousness or amnesia.

Yeah but I think she has a condition like epilepsy or something. Is it really possible to lose your memory this way though?

Sure, epilepsy, MS, all sorts of medical conditions affect memory. My fiance's short term memory isn't perfect because of his condition, but frankly, I don't mind it. Makes two or three interesting stories go a lot further.

It makes me sad when I think about his memory getting worse, but I know there will be a cure for it soon.

Awesome. When they fix all of MS, I'll be happy.
