| HI, I need some healing in my adrenal glands but am not sure how to visualize that when I am meditating. I want them to stay calm & steady when I eat carbs. So far I have just tried to visualize the cells as sleeping happy faces when I eat. that deosn't seem intense enough, though. What would you do differently, if anything? |

| What is it exactly that is happening in your body that you want to blame on carbs? I ask this because you're taking a round about way to addressing the issue. On the outside it looks like carbs is the problem or the adrenals, but there's got to be something else happening underneath.

| Gidday, first and foremost is don't worry too much, in fact at all, if possible. The relaxed but alert alpha state is ideal for visualising. Like when you are laughing, stoked, inspired, fearless, sure, positive. There's a million ways to incorporate those traits in your visualising. One for me would be something like this: First, to clearly pinpoint the situation I would see in a black screen or stage, the situation played out at its worst, in a ridiculous scenario. Like me merely sniffing a carb, adrenals pumping and turning me into a cross between a werewolf and 'The Fly'. After experiencing the hopeless scenario for a few minutes I notice a blue, flashing button... saying 'push three times if you want out.' I hurl myself at it slobbering, hit it, and presto a pure white screen or stage is all that exists. Next, 'the cure'. I am heading out to get something to eat when I take a short cut, turn into a street I've never been down, through a door, and next thing I'm in Dr House's real hospital. It turns out the show is based on a real situation. His staff grab me and before I can speak, I'm anesthetised, and wheeled off. Then I would vividly visualise me being the star of one of the show's ludicrous episodes (the more ludicrous and hilarious the better). No guessing the ending, House does it again, I stumble out on the street totally cured, wondering what the #### happened. I get to the restuarant, eat my carbs, and notice how awesome I feel, with adrenals performing beautifully...as the whole House thing starts flashing before my eyes and coming back to me. I rush off to tell House thanks, but he tells me to get lost and stop bothering him, or something equally ludicrous that would happen in the show. Next time I visualise, having already been cured, I might get Dr Bones McCoy from Star Trek beaming down (preferably with Lt Uhura in tow), as his new Dritraxion Adrenal Sensor has located the galaxy's most perfectly performing adrenals, mine, and he must study them, and preserve the data to save the ailing, Captain Kirk. If I were single, things might get interesting as it turns out Uhura can't resist a perfect set of adrenals. And so on, continuing daily until the urge told me it was no longer necessary. If you are getting bored, spice it up. Relax and be patient. Thats what I'd do anyway. |

| Knowing where your adrenal glands are physically located, and meditating on that area will increase blood flow (and oxygen exchange) to that area. I guess you can further help the cause by actually seeing and feeling the abundance of blood flow in the area..... |
