I'm curious about investing in power naps as an aid to reducing my time spent sleeping at night. I'm wondering, first, about the viability of that as a partial supplement (say I sleep 7 hours now, I want to reduce that to 6 hours and take a single power nap as necessary). Second, I'm wondering if speedsleep (.com) is a good resource to start this process, has anyone used this particular resource? Thanks, Daniel |

I haven't tried Speedsleep, but I've heard very good things about Pzizz (pzizz.com). As for reducing your overall sleep time, I've cut down from 7.5 to 6 hours simply by switching to biphasic sleeping (in my case I began with a 90 minute nap and 4.5 hours' core sleep). It's great, but it does require a 90 minute (although this gradually comes down to 75 or so) break in your schedule. Are you able to take a break this long, or perhaps a couple of shorter ones? |
