| So on the one hand a shower is quick gets the job done and saves time you could use for other things BUT I find a bath is very therapeutic, it relaxes your muscles and you feel better for it (at least I do). Especially if it's after exercising. Given the choice would you rather save time by having a shower or feel better and more relaxed after a bath? |

| As far as I'm concerned, baths are an occasional luxury. We have a whirlpool bath tub, which is very relaxing, but I like to be able to set time aside for it and fully enjoy it. So basically it's once every month or two for me.

| I like both. When I am stressed and need a break from the kids, nothing is as relaxing as a hot bath and a book. I especially loved baths when I was pregnant. I like showers better for washing my hair. For either one, I like the water HOT.

| I like both, a shower to wake me up properly in the morning or a nice relaxing bath in the evening. I try not to do both in one day unless I am really stressed. With the water shortages here I take less baths. And I like water to be hot. |

| Cold shower. It'll give you energy instead of relaxing you. And it's quick, too. I do it with the coldest water I can get out of the shower and you should be able to also with some practice(start with the middle setting and gradually set it colder during a session, next session start a bit colder and decrease the setting farther, keep going until you're getting down to the coldest and then decrease what you start off with). Also, the upper body is more sensitive to cold water than the lower body... Try having the water go around your neck and down the front of your torso. If you need to start off somewhere, start with your arms and legs.

When I go to bed at night I strip down and put blocks off ice on my body. I find when I wake up in the morning I have more energy. jk |

| I prefer the shower. The tub just takes too long to fill and I don't find a bath more relaxing that a shower really. I do have this semi-annual ritual where I go sit in the tub, while it's filling up with water. I like the sensation of the slowly rising hot water on my skin... plus it's one of the last remnants of my childhood. Gotta keep that kid alive

| Given the choice with no time constraint I love a long hot bath with tons of bubbles. But usually a shower.

Bathing also relaxes me so much, to the point of falling asleep in the tub, which in it's self brings back childhood memories of being told by Mum to go bang on the bathroom door to wake my father up. |

| I like showers! I see both being used for diffrent purposes. A bath to relax, and not really clean yourself, because you end up sitting in dirty water. Where as a shower rinses all the dirt off, but isn't always so relaxing. Mital

| Thanks for your concern, bath is too short for me to slip under the water. Last house had a bath longer than I am tall, I had to hook one foot into a metal handle to make sure I didn't slip. I used to be able to read books in the bath, these days I can only read a page or 2 before I'm too tired to focus on it |
