I am currently reading A Course in Miracles in the Original Edition and find it revolutionary. I have a paper copy of the 3rd edition, but felt like having an electronic version as well, and, voila, the Original Edition was the only available. The same applies for my blog. I always monitor when people click on my entries and happen to be magically connected today with the insights I developed years ago. My friends, God Herself is in charge of the information super-highway!

Is that the urtext with the notes from "Jesus" specifically to the authors? I am always amazed at how well synchronicity and the internet work together.

Urtext is a nice name for it. I am a little embarrassed to admit that it is the 4th time I am reading it. For some reason can't make it through the workbook though, and I am also shocked to find that already a new "church" seems to be establishing itself around it.

That's great. That just means you're committed. It's a really dense book that reads like gobbledygook for the first few chapters at least. Without my PhD level of education of David Hawkins and psychology books I wouldn't have understood half of it. I also listened to a few other people like David Hoffmeister explain the course casually. I tried to do the workbook once before this time and dropped out after a while. I think the key is knowing that just doing the workbook is not enough. That's just the reminder of how you should be all the time. Otherwise it will feel like you're switching gears too abruptly. "Live your life like a prayer." as David Hawkins says, an ex student of the course.

I have my own personal indicator for messages from the beyond. I tend to highlight sections when I read books - it is impossible to do for books like the Course or the Gita - every line is priceless!

ACIM is probably one of the most difficult to read books ever.

I have a hunch that 'the course of miracles team' butchered it and that if you read it in the first version it is much easier to comprehend. I will let you know when I am done with it.
