Default Hello everyone--new to the group!

I'm not sure how this all works exactly, but the note at the top suggested that I make my first post today by saying hello to the community--so here I am!

A good friend, Nettie Hartsock referred me to Steve's blog, about Lightworkers. I loved it and am not sure where to post a comment so maybe someone could point me in the right direction! I've been blogging (Life Before Business) on the impact of the Law of Attraction lately and Steve's post (of course) is very timely and melds in well with some of the trials and tribulations that I've been experiencing in wanting to live the most conscious life that I possibly can AND allow the money to flow in.

I run about four times a week for 40 minutes and now during my run I'm saying the following (in my head of course!), "God I open up my mind, my heart and my arms to receive all the gifts and talents that you send me so that I can use them to be of maximum service for you".

One of the things that Steve's post reminded me of was the importance of accepting the responsibility. I've been turning away success because I felt like I could be more in control of not succeeding than succeeding. Living a successful life is the ultimate form of letting go and trusting.

I'm glad to be here amongst such a wonderful community and look forward to getting to know everyone.

Namaste, LK

Hi Lynn, I am new to the forum as well. I couldn't help but see the word coach in your post. What do you coach? I love what you say to yourself when you run. I have just recently learned about the law of attraction and am having a hard time putting it to work for me. If you have any suggestions or could help me, it was be a blessing. I look forward to talking with you in the future.

Hi Melissa, "Coach" Lynn (in response to your welcome to moi)

I'm actually what is called a "professional life coach" so just like it sounds--I coach people on their life! People that I coach are everyone from movers and shakers who want to find more meaning in their lives to creative souls who want to bring their song/art/act out for others to enjoy to professionals going through career and life transition.

Please don't be discouraged about putting the law of attraction to work for yourself. Sometimes it is about giving everything ("the law", God, the Universe, Spirit, YOU) time to catch up with what you are putting out there that you want to attract.

Some helpful tips:

1.) ask for what you want and then let go of the outcome--trust the process;

2.) pay attention to the thoughts that you are carrying around in your head---are you focused on what you want or what you don't want?

3.) If you are not already a meditator, definitely carve out some time (30 minutes) each day to give yourself a chance to "listen" to the inner wisdom that is speaking to you.

Keep on seeking, keep on believing and don't give up. I've come to realize that our perception of time and the Universe's perception of time are sometimes very different!

Hope this is helpful!

Namaste, Lynn
