Default Caught up on feeds and all of sudden there's a forum...

You go on vacation, you come back, and all of a sudden Steve finally got around to getting this forum live! It sure kicked off to a nice start, now, didn't it?

If you see me around and about, I am a systems administrator from Portland, Maine that has a slight tendency to run competitively. Unfortunately, the little money that I make from it is not going to support my lifestyle, but that's where the system administration job comes in.

I've recently had some major changes in my life, as evidenced by my second website. I bought my first house towards the beginning of this year, and this summer got married to the most wonderful woman I've ever met.

On a personal development front, I definately think that I had a strong childhood for good self esteem.

Becoming a morning person was merely a matter of my stepfather asking me how I could waste the best part of the day. I thought about it, and started waking up early. Then I went to college and was up at 5:45 every morning to run. No chance of sleeping in anymore!

The self esteem came from wondering why somebody would like me if I didn't like myself. I convinced myself to like me, and then I made a lot more friends rather than just being that guy that everybody gets along with.

Getting rid of negative stress was a lot tougher, but I had good motivation for it. I suffer from pretty bad migraines; I went blind for two weeks once kind of bad. Controlling stress has certainly given me a different outlook on life than I otherwise might have had.

That's some basics of me in a nutshell. Nice to meet y'all.
