Default Howdy from the west slope in Colorado

I have just recently gotten a computer. This is so exciting. Have been studying Kabbala for quite a while now and have many books concerning the subject among numerous other similar subjects. Generally anything and everything to do with spirituality and sacredness or mysticism. Cannot wait to start learning. Am very glad to be here.

Blessings
Budhabee

Default Regarding Grand Junction

I see your from there. I was wondering how big the place was. Also what is the housing situation. I am from Ca so housing prices are thru the roof. I also heard that you get less snow then say Denver is this true? I looked online but it is hard to get a visual. I am used to all the amenities, spoiled I guess, like the gym, starbucks and the mall. Sounds so city, but I guess I am. Thanks any input on the area would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dana

Hi Goetzitdone,
The "Jay" is surrounded by three mountains. The Grand Mesa, The Bookcliffs, and Monument National park. It is not very big really. But they are worried about the future as it is growing rapidly. They say in ten years it will look like Denver. YIKES. Very little snow in winter. In summer it reaches up to 100 degrees on some days. It is true we have mild winters. (Generally) but I'm sure on rare years they get some doozies. Anyway. It is arid in the basin where the town sits. The only thing that would be green is what is watered. We use irrigation. A river runs through it. (Colorado River?) I think. They grow peaches here and some farms have wineries. Cattle and Horses abound. Prices on housing is steep. (I think) Since they are growing so rapidly they get a house built and I swear next day someone moves into it. But price wise I really couldn't tell you. I would say 150,000 to 300,000 around abouts. Does this help?
Blessings
Budhabee
